21st CCLC Program Goals and Objectives:
* To provide students in kindergarten through eighth grade a safe, structured, and enriching environment to learn and play after school.
*To provide opportunities for students of all ages to develop skills and explore a variety of interests, guidance from knowledgeable, responsible, and caring adults.
*To promote effective communication between families and schools.
*To reinforce parenting skills and initiate literacy training for parents.
*To maintain and strengthen students' reading, writing, and math skills.
*To further develop awareness of preserving and conserving our natural resources and to recognize the difference.
*To provide teachers with in-service training opportunities in a safe, familiar facility.
*To increase collaboration among various local businesses, the schools, pertinent agencies, and the community.
*To effectively use facilities to give parents, teacher, students, and community members resources, training, and information to strengthen the total community's commitment to education and to engage in a partnership of life-long learning.
